• Day 1
  Arrival and check-in at your cabin in Glöte, Härjedalen. In the evening we will take you out on a wildlife safari by car and hopefully spot wildlife such as moose, foxes, roe deer, capercaillie and maybe even bears! You spend the night in your own cosy cabin.

• Day 2
  We drive to Sweden’s oldest national park which is believed to have the highest bear population in whole Sweden. Once there we will follow an unmarked trail deep into the forest that leads to a secluded rustic cabin, where we can leave some of our luggage.
  
  Next we take another hike through bear territory to a lookout point where we will try to spot some wildlife. Along the way we look for tracks and other markings. After our spotting session we hike back to the cabin where we can light a fire to get warm and turn in for the night.

• Day 3
  After breakfast we start the walk back to the car. On the car ride back we will visit a spot by the river where we can see tracks of beavers and if we are lucky a beaver dam or even a beaver!
  
  After this visit to the river we travel back to your cabin in Glöte. You will have the rest of the afternoon and evening to yourself.

• Day 4
  On your last day in your cabin in Glöte we have no planned day-activities but you are welcome to use our private lookout spot and try to spot some more wildlife while you enjoy your morning coffee. No need to rush, a late checkout is included.

  At the end of the afternoon you will travel to Lofsdalen where you will be guided to Lofsdalen’s Bears Den, a cabin hidden away deep in the forest where you have the possibility to see brown bears in their natural habitat. Here you will spend the entire night and the hide out is booked exclusively for you. The hide out has a special room for spotting and photographing the animals that wander by during the night. Because we have such long days here in Sweden you can spot all night long if you wish!

• Day 5
  You prepare and eat your own breakfast in the hide out. After your breakfast it is time to check-out and leave the hide out (you follow the same path back so you will be able to leave the cabin without a guide). This also means that your tour with us has come to an end and you are to continue your journey in Sweden!

“The car safari was great you travel to many varied areas with the possibility of seeing a wide variety of wildlife which we did including a bear crossing the road right in front of us! The mountain tour and night in the mountain hut was superb plenty of sign for different animals and lots of bear scat.

The final night in the Bears Den in Lofsdalen was the icing on the cake, I cannot stress how good and how much fun this trip was and I will certainly be back.”
