A fun and challenging experience in the southern mountains of Lofsdalen. This tour takes us through snow covered forest up the steep ‘Mossaruten’ mountain (820m). Here we will enjoy amazing views over the Norwegian mountains in the west, Sonfjället National Park in the north and of course Lofsdalen with its own mount Hovärken.
When it’s time for our break we spend our well earned break from the uphill hike in Lofsdalens Waffle House where we get to taste their amazing Swedish waffles with strawberry or why not cloudberry jam and whipped cream!
After we have replenished our energy with waffles and a warm drink we start our descent to Lofsdalen. During the hike down we’ll enjoy the views over all of Lofsdalens snow covered valley and frozen lake.
Difficulty
Easy to medium. The trail to the Waffle House is quite steep so prepare to be sweaty. Recommended minimum age: 10 years.
